january 24,1981.the day sammy came into our lives!! what a beautiful baby,such a sweet boy & a wonderful young man.sammy has always been such a special person,his smile can light up a room.when he smiles his eyes sparkle and shine.goodness shimmers around him like a mist and he makes everyone happy to be right where they are!! sammy loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest.anyone who has ever been fortunate enough to know him will attest to this.

july 23,1984.the day our gina came into our lives.gina is & will forever be our baby girl!!she is like watching lightning dance across the sky!! so full of life and energy.so many plans for our baby.gina was an exceptionally beautiful young lady,inside and out.quick to smile,always ready to come to the defense of anyone being picked on.loyal and loving to all who know her.

on august 10,2003 both sammy and gina,along with thier friend josh clark were all three found drowned in a discharge canal at the smith-lansing power plant.there were at the time this took place no no trespassing signs,no warning signs and no safety measures in place.the area they were at was in fact an area where for many years people had been going to fish,hunt,and a general hanging out spot for many of the areas young people.no one was around them ,so we can only speculate as to what happened.we believe one of them fell in and the other two went in to try to save each other.the water was running at somewhere around 15 miles an hour with 250,000 gals per minute going through the discharge pipes.it was a situation they could not get out of.gina and josh went through the piping system and pushed out into the main canal.sammy's body was recovered by the bcso dive dive hung up still in one of the pipes.all three of these young people are greatlly missed,our families will never ever be the same.we love and miss you our sweet babies!!!mom
